This is an awesome firepit!! We haven't used it for cooking yet (except for marshmallows), but I'll update the review once we try it. It was very easy to follow the instructions step-by-step to put together. All the parts fit beautifully. It's very sturdy and with the screen lining the inside, we've had no coals or burning wood popping out the sides. We did by a circular mat to put under it, just in case, since we are using this on our TREK deck.
It's large enough for at least six people to sit around it (or more). And honestly I think this is the best firepit we've ever had. It looks awesome, as well!
We did also buy a cover for it and we're very happy with the entire purchases. We definitely would recommend this model for anyone wanting something for warmth, as well as for fun and cooking!

Really nice for the price
I could not believe how well this fire pit was boxed up! I mean, it took lots of time & effort to ensure that it would arrive unscathed. Everything was wrapped/boxed individually. The hardware was on (basically) the same thing that older or disabled individuals get their meds in, kind of a bubble pack, with all screws/bolts labeled by where & when you used them. The pit parts themselves have letters on them so you know what to use & when to use it. Might have taken me 45 minutes to build, with a manual screwdriver. Much of that time was spent unwrapping everything (like I said, very well packed). Instructions are very easy to follow. My first complaint is that while I was assembling the fire pit, I put some minor scrapes on it whilst I had it upside-down on my cement patio, but that's how you have to put it together, upside-down. My second complaint is that there's a tag hanging right on the grilling part that tells you that you must use foil or an aluminum pan for all cooking. My guess is that you shouldn't be consuming anything cooked on that painted surface. So much for cooking directly over the fire! Although you could still do hotdogs, marshmallows, mountain pies, etc. right over the fire. Follow the directions & do NOT completely tighten all of the screws until you have it all assembled. It helps with alignment of all of the parts. I'm going to get a cover for it as I know from past experience that fire pits usually rust fairly easily. Overall pleased with my purchase & was a great price. Seems sturdy & hopefully I get a number of years of use out of it.

Pretty decent fire pit/grill. I use charcoal in it to roast a spatchcocked chicken. Came out great.

I got this fire pit as a stand for my Solo Stove. It fits perfectly! I like that it gets the Stove off the deck, and has the shelf which is a buffer to keep my dog from getting too close. The firepit is easier for me to move around as well. I’m all set for entertaining friends this summer!
Putting it together was simple although I think a few of the holes could have been drilled better.
