Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato, who started on Barney together as kids, were vlogging Disney Channel star besties as teens, and gradually had an on-off best friendship as young adults, appear to be back on. Gomez just started following Lovato on Instagram this morning, leaving three comments on Lovato's post about her documentary video. This comes after the two had a cute Twitter exchange earlier this summer.
"Demi, this was beautiful. I’m so happy for you," Gomez wrote. "You always continue to [be] bold and real. I wish more people were like you." Then, she commented a third time, "Love you."
Fans took screenshots, then promptly lost it in the comment section:
Lovato hasn't responded or followed Gomez back on Instagram yet, but it's only a matter of time.
Update, 1:51 P.M.: It indeed happened. Around noon, Lovato followed Gomez back and replied to her comment with her own "Love you too."
