Best burgers in the entire state of Minnesota. We love this place. It's an institution and an experience. Our whole family always looks forward to Maple Beach!

We wanted a place to drive to and get away via a country road trip. I've been by Maple Beach Grill before and it's always very busy so I knew that was a good sign.

We got there today and I was so excited to have a burger. It did not disappoint. The buns are amazing... The burger was tasty and had amazing toppings. Mushroom and Swiss with fried onions for me. California burger for my friend.

This is not a fast food restaurant so, knowing you may have a little wait, sit at a picnic table and enjoy life while watching the lake across the way. It sure helped me... Oh... You can do so well enjoying a cream soda!

Can't wait to go back. I love supporting small businesses. Thanks Maple Beach for being a fun part of my day off. Definitely worth the drive and we enjoyed the charming atmosphere. :)

The burgers and fries were great. The burgers were very big, juicy, and fresh made. There is outdoor seating only which is fine if the weather is nice. Otherwise you can easily take your order to go.

Someone mentioned that you 'have to eat the burgers outside, so i give 4 stars'......this is why i give 5 stars.

Its weird, its different, its what they want - not what you want. Don't rate what YOU want, rate what YOU get on your plate.

I LOVE restaurants that take this stance. (and hey, if you are a patient person, you can eat inside their tiny booths which is both uncomfortable, and awesome) - get a root beer.

I feel like I hit the lottery if I can make my schedule align with their weird hours (another +1 for them!). It's fun, deal with it.

We have been coming here every summer for 20 years. We love how trusting the owners are by having you pay after you are done eating. The food is awesome!
Apparently the people that complain about having to eat outside are not nature lovers. Also they have no concept of the old fashioned resorts of 50 plus years ago.

Phil is the MAN! Drew is pretty cool too. Whoever cooks for you will make your life feel complete with those fabulous burgers.

It takes some time for the burger but it's worth the wait fresh bun meat and veggies and fresh food if you have time and your hungry I recommend you eat here

This place has the best burgers period. It's tucker away on south lida and you would drive right by and not even know. Go for the blue cheese burger. Highly recommended!

Don't forget that you pay after you eat. Sit outside on the picnic tables and they will puns on the window when your order is ready.

This family owned restaurant has amazing burgers and a genuine love for the Lake Lida community. The burgers are handpacked... the fries servings are beyond generous and the experience of relaxing with your family is priceless.

If you want a meal that arrives in ten minutes or less and plan to eat inside, this is not your place. My folks tend to hop on the pontoon and cross Lake Lida to reach this quaint hole-in-the wall cabin on the beach. Depending on the day, you might have a wait time of 30+ minutes. If you can handle placing your order inside and waiting patiently for your number to show up in the window (accompanied by a knock or two) I can guarantee you will have no qualms with the food. An order of fries will feed your entire party. The burgers are fantastic and the locals know that they are well worth the wait. In mid summer, bring some bug spray. Maybe even a deck of cards. Say hello to your neighbors and enjoy the view. As the anticipation builds while you wait and enjoy the smells of patrons who arrived before you, I can guarantee that your meal will be even better than you'd imagined when your number is called. Give it a whirl. Don't be crabby if they run out of bacon. This is a local mom and pop establishment and well worth the wait- and your business. Bring cash!!! They don't take cards.
